Shipping, returns & repairs
- Shipping: Dispatch within 7 business days with tracked post. Duties/taxes = buyer’s responsibility. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Returns (stock only): 7 days for store credit or exchange (including Adventure Cat Academy services). Buyer pays return shipping.
- Condition: Unworn/unused in original packaging. For hygiene reasons, once placed on a cat, it’s ineligible.
- Warranty: 12 months workmanship (stitching, hardware/rivets, delamination) under normal, supervised use.
- Repairs: Paid refresh/adjustments available.
- Legal: Some regions restrict kangaroo leather; buyer must check local laws. We do not ship kangaroo-leather items to California.
Shipping
Dispatch window
Orders ship within 10 business days (Mon–Fri, excluding VIC public holidays).
Carriers & tracking
We use [AusPost/Courier] with tracking. [Signature on delivery: optional/required].
International orders
Local duties/taxes are the buyer’s responsibility. We cannot mark parcels as “gift”. Parcels refused or returned due to unpaid duties are refunded as store credit minus shipping once received back in original condition.
Shipping fees
Shipping is non-refundable once the order has left our studio.
Change-of-mind returns (stock items only)
Window & method
Request a Return Authorisation (RA) within 7 days of delivery. Approved returns receive store credit or exchange—including Adventure Cat Academy services. Credit is valid 12 months. Buyer pays return shipping.
Unworn/unused condition
For hygiene and scent reasons, items tried on a cat are ineligible. Returned items must be unworn/unused in original packaging (box, cards, tissue) and pass these objective checks:
- No fur or odour (smoke, perfume, pet hair)
- No compression lines or burnished ‘shine’ where the slider grips the strap
- No creasing at strap folds; no stretching or edge fraying
- Hardware unscratched/untarnished
- Bow profile intact (not crushed); packaging tidy and dry
Inspection & outcomes
Returns that show wear are refused or returned to the buyer at their expense. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Not eligible
- Custom/bespoke commissions (final sale).
- Sale/markdown items.
- Behavioural reasons (e.g., flopping, reversing, refusing to walk). See Size Guide for intro steps.
How to request a return (RA)
- Email staff@mrbeauty.co within 7 days with order #, serial, and reason.
- Upload photos so we can pre-check condition.
- If approved, we’ll issue an RA. Ship tracked within 5 days in original packaging.
- We inspect within 5 business days of receipt and issue store credit/exchange if approved.
Warranty (Workmanship)
We stand behind our making for 12 months from delivery.
Covered: stitching failure, hardware/rivet failure, and delamination under normal, supervised use.
Exclusions: chewing/scratching, heat or sun damage, water/chemical damage, misuse (including tie-outs or unsupervised wear), and third-party alterations.
Remedy: repair or replace at our discretion. Please contact us within 14 days of noticing an issue, with photos and your serial number. [Note if you cover return postage on approved warranty claims.]
Paid repairs & adjustments
Out-of-warranty care is available at customer expense: re-stitching, re-riveting, shortening/lengthening, conditioning and polish.
How it works: email photos + serial → we quote → you approve → ship to us (tracked) → we repair and return. Buyer covers shipping both ways.
Transit damage (DOA)
If your parcel arrives damaged, email us within 48 hours with photos of the outer box, inner packaging, and the item (serial visible). We’ll assess and arrange a replacement or a return, as appropriate. Refuse delivery if the carton looks severely crushed at handover (when possible).
Legal & restricted destinations (Kangaroo leather)
Some regions restrict kangaroo leather. Buyers are responsible for ensuring import is lawful in their location. We do not ship kangaroo-leather items to California. Orders seized or returned due to local restrictions aren’t eligible for shipping refunds; if returned to us in original condition, we can issue store credit minus shipping.
