What personal information we collect
- Contact details: name, email, phone, suburb.
- Service information: intake form responses, goals, training history, notes.
- Media you provide: photos/videos for coaching feedback.
- Booking & payment details: session dates, invoices/receipts. (We don’t store full card data—our payment provider does.)
- Website data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and basic analytics. If you leave a comment (where enabled), we collect the data shown in the form, plus your IP and browser user-agent to help spam detection
How we collect it
- Forms and emails you submit to us (intake, contact, bookings).
- During coaching sessions (online or in person).
- Automatically via our website (cookies/analytics—see below)
Why we collect it (lawful purposes)
- To deliver, schedule and improve our education and behaviour-consulting services.
- To invoice and manage bookings.
- To communicate with you about services, resources and updates.
- With consent, to use de-identified case information or media for education or promotion.
We follow the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). For EU/UK visitors, our legal basis is consent and/or contract performance.
Photos, video and recordings
- We will not film or photograph you or your cat without consent.
- Coaching clips you share are used for feedback and stored securely.
- We won’t publish your photos/videos without your written consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Third-party providers (processors)
We use reputable providers to run our site and deliver services. They process data only on our instructions:
- Website/hosting: WordPress + Web24
- Forms/booking: Formidable Forms; Calendly
- Payments: Square (handles card data)
- Email: Outlook
Some providers may store data overseas; we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable safeguards.
Cookies & analytics
Our site uses essential cookies (for things like remembering form choices) and basic analytics to understand usage.
- If you leave a comment, you can opt-in to save your name/email/website in cookies for convenience (typically 1 year).
- If you log in (admin/users), WordPress sets login and screen-options cookies.
- Embedded content (e.g., YouTube/Vimeo, Instagram) may set their own cookies and track interactions as if you visited their site directly.

Comments (where enabled)
When visitors leave comments, we collect the data shown in the form, plus IP and browser user-agent for spam filtering. An anonymised hash of your email may be sent to Gravatar to check if you’re using it. After approval, your profile image may be visible next to your comment. How long we keep information
- Client records: up to 7 years (typical for service records) unless we need to keep them longer for legal or insurance reasons.
- Coaching clips: kept while your case is active; deleted on request unless needed for record-keeping.
- Comments: stored indefinitely to recognise follow-ups automatically.
- Registered users (if any): can see, edit or delete their profile (except username). Site admins can also see/edit that information.
Your rights
You can request access, correction or deletion of your personal information (subject to legal/insurance obligations).
To make a request, email staff@mrbeauty.co. If we can’t resolve a concern, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
When we share information
We don’t sell personal data. We share information only:
- as required by law,
- where there is a risk of harm to a person or animal,
- with your consent, or
- with service providers listed above acting on our behalf.
If you request a password reset, your IP address may be included in the reset email (WordPress default).
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures (SSL/HTTPS, least-access accounts, secure providers). No method is 100% secure; we work to prevent unauthorised access or misuse.
Children & schools
For school programs, we collect only information that’s necessary to deliver our sessions, via the school. We don’t contact students directly or retain student contact details beyond the program’s needs.
International visitors
If you access our site from outside Australia, your information may be processed in countries where our providers operate.
