Scope
These Terms govern use of mrbeauty.co and purchases made via the site (physical goods, digital resources, gift cards). Coaching/consulting is covered by our Service Terms & Cancellations.
1) Using this site
Content is educational and not veterinary advice. Don’t misuse the site (spam, scraping, unlawful activity). Third-party links/embeds follow their own policies.
2) Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, site content, product designs, photos and learning materials are our copyright. We grant a personal, non-transferable licence to use purchased resources; no redistribution or re-publishing without written permission.
3) Prices & payment
Prices are in AUD and GST-free. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. An order is accepted when payment clears and we email confirmation.
4) Shipping, returns & repairs (summary)
The full, current policy forms part of these Terms and is incorporated by reference: Shipping, Returns & Repairs. Key points:
- Dispatch: within 10 business days (Mon–Fri, VIC public holidays excluded), via tracked post/courier.
- Duties/taxes: buyer’s responsibility for international orders. We do not mark items as ‘gift’.
- Shipping fees: non-refundable once the order has left our studio.
- Returns (stock items only): Request RA within 7 days of delivery for store credit or exchange (credit valid 12 months). Buyer pays return shipping. We do not give change of mind refunds.
- Condition: unworn/unused in original packaging; once the item has been placed on a cat, the item is ineligible for return (hygiene/scent). Objective checks apply (fur/odour, creasing/stretch, hardware condition, bow profile, packaging).
- Not eligible: custom/bespoke items; sale/markdown items; behavioural reasons (e.g., flopping/refusing to walk).
- Warranty (workmanship): 12 months for stitching, hardware/rivets, and delamination under normal, supervised use. Exclusions include chewing/scratching, heat/sun, water/chemicals, misuse (e.g., tie-outs/unsupervised wear), third-party alterations. Remedy: repair or replace at our discretion.
- Repairs (paid): refresh/adjustments available out of warranty; buyer covers shipping both ways.
- Transit damage (DOA): email within 48 hours with photos (outer box, inner packaging, item/serial).
- Legal/restricted destinations: buyer must check local laws. We do not ship kangaroo-leather items to California. Orders seized/returned due to local restrictions aren’t eligible for shipping refunds; if returned to us in original condition, we issue store credit minus shipping.
5) Digital products
Personal-use licence; delivery by download/email. No change-of-mind refunds once accessed, except as required under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) for defective/not-as-described items.
6) Consumer guarantees & liability (ACL)
Nothing here limits your rights under the ACL. Where permitted, our liability is limited to the remedies required by law (repair, replacement or refund).
7) Privacy
Handled per our Privacy Policy. Using the shop means you agree to processing by our payment, hosting and delivery providers.
8) Force majeure
We aren’t liable for delays outside our reasonable control (e.g., severe weather, strikes, carrier disruptions). We’ll keep you updated and offer reasonable remedies.
9) Governing law
Victoria, Australia. Non-exclusive jurisdiction of Victorian courts.
